Job Description

Business Development Manager - B2B Events SalesConference Sponsorships, Exhibition Packages, Tradeshow SalesCentral London office - Hybrid working (3 set days in office each week) + TravelBase Salary £30,000-£35,000 + Uncapped Commission + BenefitsThis is a full-time, permanent positionDo you have exhibition, conference or tradeshow sales experience and are looking to join a high-growth event team and have the opportunity to sell sponsorship AND exhibition packages to blue-chip clientsFor this role, we can also accept applications from candidates who have worked in recruitment consultancy, ad/media sales and SaaS sales.Our client, a Global B2B events company is looking to recruit a new Business Development Manager into their sustainability events team, here you will have the opportunity to sell sponsorship and exhibition packages.The Person:

  • Ideally, youll have experience in Sponsorship, Exhibition or tradeshow sales, however, applications from experienced sales professionals such as; recruitment consultants, ad sales or SaaS sales will be considered
  • The role will be a 50/50 mix of new business and account development, you will need to be skilled at building client relationships.
  • A consultative and solutions focused sales style is essential
  • Outstanding communication skills are required - written and spoken
  • Confident working to targets and managing your own sales pipeline
  • We are eager to meet experienced sales candidates who speak additional European languages; especially German, Italian, Spanish or Dutch due to the geographical locations of these events. However, this is not essential
