Job Description

Client Assistant Accountant, £35,000, Central London and HybridA leading and established talent management agency are hiring for a Client Accounts Coordinator who can step into a large Client Accounts team. This is a fast paced environment, and the role is important to help guide juniors in the team and support the FinanceManager in their role. You will have some experience in an accounting team, preferably within an agency environment, and will be looking to develop their relationship building skills. If you are early in your accounts career and interested in TV and film,this could be for you!We will be reviewing CVs throughout the process so please apply as soon as you are able to.Your Role

  • Liaising with agents and other staff, as required e.g. payment queries, client information etc.
  • Processing payments through our bespoke payments system for the Talent department
  • Raising VAT invoices and credit control on behalf of clients.
  • Investigating unallocated amounts received and payments on hold.
  • Dealing with client’s queries, for example tax, VAT, paperwork, outstanding payments etc. via phone or email, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Updating financial records
  • Using online banking to download bank statements, transfer money between accounts and make CHAPS, BACS or International payments.
  • Financial analysis as and when required.
Your Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a transactional accounting role
  • Experience in an agency environment would be ideal, but not required
  • Happy to work in a fast paced environment
  • Highly organised, with good attention to detail
  • Interest in TV/Film/Theatre would be preferred!
