This position will provide you with a key and integral role to the continued growth and success of Sopra Steria Consulting business.Reporting into an Executive Consulting Director, the role will work collaboratively across our business sectors to define, develop and construct value propositions to drive the strategy for new business sales. The role will be responsible for developing close working relationships with the Sopra Steria Consulting, strategic sales and marketing teams to maximise sales and create "door opening" opportunities.Key Responsibilities

  • Define, develop and construct value propositions and proposals which are aligned with our area of focus and relevant to our target markets and key accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with the consulting sector leads, strategic sales and marketing teams to take value propositions to market.
  • Create tactical "door opener" opportunities to create pure new business, based on immediate issues experience by the customer for which we have quick turnaround solutions.
  • Monitor and track each value propositions each initiative and its success through understanding sales, meetings generated and opportunities created.
  • Develop value propositions which are structural and an integral to overall strategic offers.
  • Work closely with our internal teams and external customers to combine fresh thinking and excellent sector knowledge to identify and develop intelligent and innovative consulting solutions.
  • Support a consulting-led culture by embracing innovative, highly disruptive technologies that deliver new ways of working in a digital world.
  • Inspire the wider Consulting Community through sharing personal knowledge, coaching and the design and delivery of development activities.
  • Feedback to the company any relevant market intelligence, e.g. customers, marketplace, industry, competition, technology.
  • Develop and share effective competitive strategies for target opportunities.
  • Essential Skills
  • Experience of consulting business development form either a consulting or digital transformation organisation.
  • Experience of developing value propositions and taking these to market.
  • Experience of describing and selling business solutions that embraces business processes, organisational change and information technology.
  • Commercially focused with the ability to deliver innovative solutions.
  • The ability to establish rapport and deliver compelling, persuasive propositions to an executive level audience.
  • Experience of delivering business and technical solutions to senior client executives in formal presentations, question and answer sessions and on reference visits.
  • A great leader with a collaborative working style.
  • Degree level education or equivalent, typically in Business, Information Technology or Engineering (includes appropriate apprenticeships)
