ROLE PROFILE: The Event Management team sits under the Corporate Affairs group within LSEG and leads the planningand execution of corporate, internal and commercial events and experiences ranging in size and varying degrees of complexity. As an Events Associate, you will lead and deliver a full spectrum of events which build on new and existing client relationships,supporting client retention goals, and build significant, face-to-face engagement opportunities for our client-facing teams. The role requires planning and collaboration with multiple client-facing teams and senior management across LSEG, external clientsand an array of vendors and businesses to support the delivery of events. The ideal candidate will have a track record of event creation and management. ROLE SUMMARY: As a member of the Event Management team, your focus will be contributing to and supportingthe planning, management and delivery of a wide spectrum of events across the group. WHAT YOULL BE DOING: • Ensure a successful client experience and highly qualitative outcomes for the LSEG team, clients and customers. • Manage shared mailboxes - respondingto requests for Corporate Events support and Market Ceremonies, and supporting workload allocation across the Events Management team. • End to end planning and delivery of corporate, partnered, commercial and internal events that have been assigned to theteam. • Pre-plan and deliver virtual events and town halls taking place globally across LSEG. • Pre-plan 3rd party events including sponsorship events, trade show booths. • Onsite and 3rd party location support for key events when required. • Ability to navigatebetween virtual and in person event execution. WHAT YOULL BRING: • Experience of event or marketing experience creating, handling and producing high-touch, outstanding meetings and events • Team spirited, friendly, confident individual with a highly professionaldemeanour including excellent interpersonal and networking skills; confidence to interact with executives and top-tier clients • Ability to conceptualize ideas and see ideas through to execution • Comfortable leading contracts including terms and conditions,liability, indemnification, attrition, etc. • Excellent presentation and communication skills with an engaging and diplomatic demeanour • Highly resourceful, creative and self-motivated • Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure in a client-facingenvironment • Interest and experience in staying current on all aspects of event production and execution • Experience working with the latest tech requirements • Delivery focused with strong attention to detail and high-quality standards, coupled with theability to balance multiple demands, handle shifting priorities, and meet deadlines • Ability to work flexible days and hours as needed We recognize that to attract the best talent, we need to be flexible and we are open to discussing work arrangements withyou.
