Job Description

  • A high-growth, Private Equity-backed Technology business is looking to recruit a Finance Transformation Manager on 3-6-month fixed term contract, working remotely initially and London-based in the future. This is a newly created role as a result of a recent acquisition and is an opportunity to work within a fast-growth, highly acquisitive brand.Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Transformation Manager will be responsible for taking ownership for the end-to-end integration of a newly acquired business into the existing company structure. The role will involve working extensively with senior stakeholders within the newly acquired company to map out the existing finance processes and systems to successfully manage the finance implementation.Responsibilities will include:
  • Mapping out a roadmap and workstreams to facilitate a successful integration of the new business.
  • Mapping out the existing chart of accounts for the newly acquired business, ensuring all controls and processes are understood ahead of the integration
  • Recommend improvements to the existing processes and successfully implement these changes upon integrating the business
  • Manage the implementation project from start to finish, working closely with the finance teams of both companies to achieve this
  • Post-implementation analysis including troubleshooting any integration issues
  • Mapping out a future finance implementation strategy to be able to support with future acquisitions
  • The successful candidate will be an ACA Qualified Accountant with previous experience working in a role where you have taken ownership for the implementation of a newly acquired business. You must have proven examples of where you have successfully managed projects from start to finish. Experience working in the Tech sector is beneficial but not essential. To succeed in this role, you must be willing to take accountability for the project, have excellent communication skills to be able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and have the ability to work to the project deadlines set.In return for your hardwork, you will have the opportunity to work for a fast-growth business that is leaders in its market, you will also be working amongst an extremely credible senior management team.
