Job Description

Financial Controller, Central London (hybrid- 3 days a week)£100- £120kpa plus benefits including a 20% bonusOur client, a business with very exciting plans in place for the future are looking to recruit a technically strong Financial Controller on a permanent basis. The Financial Controller will report directly to the CEO and will play a key role in developing thefinancial platform to ensure the business is fully scalable for its next phase of growth. Due to the relatively early stage in the companys development and the significant growth expectations, this should be a fantastic opportunity for the right person tooperate a world class finance function and then grow the role with the company.Key Duties:-- Effective cash flow management, including optimising working capital and maintaining liquidity forecasts.- Ensure robust control environment is in place with reporting to board on adequacy of internal control environment and ensure control environment is scaleable for expected rapid growth.- Co-ordination of internal and external resources to ensure the finance function is seen as one integrated and well coordinated team by Investors.- Continuously monitor balance of in house v outsourced work and make recommendations on optimum balance of internal and external resourcing.- Development of annual budgets and plans at both manager and executive level and work closely with CEO & Leadership team on long term strategic and scenario planning.- Identify risks and opportunities across the business, creating and developing solutions.- Manage Board & Investor reporting processes.- Review all tax related matters, both domestic and cross-border issues.- Manage the Regulatory & Tax Compliance requirements at the project/local jurisdictional level.- Manage the Project Valuation process (with support from Investment Team).- Selection and implementation of appropriate accounting software.- Oversee banking relationships, cash management and payments.The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) and be a real self-starter, team player, confident in leading, motivating and co-ordinating multiple out-source providers. You will have experience of reporting to and managing multiple investors/ shareholders / stakeholders, with strong process management skills, an ability to prioritise and react quickly to dynamic demands from stakeholders across the firm.
