Position: Group AcccountantLocation: LondonSalary: £60k + BonusThe Role:Communciate is currently working with a FTSE 250 company within the tech sector. They are actively recruiting a qualified Group Accountant with strong PQE to join the team and report to the head of Group Reporting.Your responsibilities will include: - Assist the Head of Group Reporting in all aspects of financial and statutory reporting as required- Provision of technical accounting advice, including the drafting of accounting papers and policy documents- Preparation of timely and accurate monthly and quarterly consolidated information for variety of stakeholders- Assistance with audit and preparation of Group and subsidiary statutory accounts- Contribute to ongoing programme of continuous process improvement- Assist in Group month and quarter end close and consolidation- Development of a good working relationship with finance teams across the global business- Preparation of financial information for ad hoc management requests- Participate in various Group led projects as requiredAbout You:• ACA qualified - preferably with Big 4• At least 2 years PQE• Extensive knowledge of IFRS essential (in global context (eg multinational/Large Private or PE etc)• Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in addressing complex accounting issues• Experience working in a fast paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.• Good interpersonal skills• Strong Excel skills• Good attention to detail and analytical skills and a can do attitude
