My Client, an International bank in the City, seeks a junior banking operations officer (circa 12-18 months experience post graduation) to cover multiple products and operational processes, but with a primary focus on Treasury.Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)Responsible for transaction flows for treasury products including; FX/MM, Derivative, IRS, Securities, CD’S & bond transactions from Trade Capture, Instruction Routing, Settlement Management.Confirmation matching, identifying differences and resolution by liaising with the business and external clientsInvestigating and resolution of issues, e.g. non receipt of fundsBrokerage - Monthly accrual, reconciliation & paying of brokerage invoices.Maintenance of static including ssi’s, security set up and rate fixes for both securities and derivative transactions.Ability to understand and generate the relevant MT1xx, MT2xx and MT3xx series Swift messages.Support and cover for the transaction reporting required under both MiFID II and EMIRTo support the production of daily, weekly and monthly management informationEnsure all applicable processes and procedures are adhered to and updated as and when required.Support with management with any other ad-hoctasks and support requirements.We process certain personal information about you for our legitimate business interests in order to identify and contact suitable candidates about positions that may be relevant to them.
