Job Description

Selected by SAP Hybris in 2015, Portaltech has been working with SAP core engineering team to develop and enhance product features such as the Travel Accelerator. With offices in London, Milan, Munich, Minsk and Chicago, Portaltech Reply has been helping customers worldwide, successfully designing and implementing over 50 eCommerce solutions for leading retailers, brands and B2Bs Responsibilites:

  • Develop Java automated scripts using Selenium library and Cucumber BDD (behaviour-driven development)
  • Create and execute regression tests across multiple environments as changes are promoted and staged for production
  • Verify the health of the websites user journeys through the automated scripts and manually validate the failures and update the script when necessary
  • Raise accurate and detailed de
  • fects and issues for customer review
  • Be involved in the business activities and the decision-making process to be aware of sudden changes that might impact the test results
  • Collaborate within an agile team providing input for services backlog, sprint planning, story development and testing, demos, and team retrospective
About the candidate:
  • A minimum 2.1 Bachelors degree in computer science, computer information systems or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience with Java application development and support or automation framework development
  • 1+ years of experience in Automation testing
  • Understanding of enterprise infrastructure and application components (network, application and database servers, storage, computing, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of source code repository tools using Git, Bitbucket, SourceTree, etc.
  • Experience in SAP Commerce (Hybris) and/or API Automation testing and/or CI/CD tools such as Jenkins for continuous integration testing are a plus
