PMLD Teaching Assistant|Bexleyheath|Septemeber StartRole: PMLD Teaching AssistantContract: Full TimeRate: £90 - £115 per dayStart: September 2024Hours: 08:30 - 15:30Location: Bexleyheath, South East LondonAs a PMLD Teaching Assistant you will be supporting other students!As a PMLD Teaching Assistant you will be working with complex needs!As a PMLD Teaching Assistant you will be able to work at some of our top schools in London!We are looking for a fantastic PMLD Support Assistant in Greenwich to work with children Youll have to adapt your learning and make sure that youre able to support children who have difficulties with their learning. This position is a full-time, long-termrole giving you the best chance to showcase your ability and land your dream permanent position.About the schoolThis is a reputable Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) Secondary school, with really good resources to help the children learn. The staff are extremely friendly and approachable and are looking for another person to join their incredible team.These guys are experienced professionals inside their field, so the staff are more than willing to help you.From past experience and reviews we know that this PMLD school is a great place to work in, this gives us confidence that whoever lands this position will be very happy working inside this school.Ideal Candidate:

  • A strong understanding of children with PMLD.
  • Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student
  • To be patient when working with the children
  • The mindset to strive in a new environment
  • Benefits/Schedule.
  • Supporting students with PMLD mostly on a 1:1 basis
  • Attend to pupils personal needs, including social health, hygiene, first aid and welfare.
  • To be patient when working with the children.
  • The mindset to strive in a new environment.
  • Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student.
  • Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and SEN professionals.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements.
Standard Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN ideally PMLD
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
