Job Title: React Developer with Scala ExperienceContract Duration: 12 MonthsLocation: Major Investment BankDaily Rate: £650 - £850PD (Negotiable for candidates with extensive investment banking and technical experience)Our client, a leading investment bank, is seeking a skilled React Developer with experience in Scala for a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both front-end and back-end development, with previous experience in an investmentbanking environment.Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js (60% of the role).- Implement back-end services and integrate APIs using Scala (40% of the role).- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.- Ensure high-quality graphical standards and brand consistency.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.Qualifications:- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with React.js.- Solid experience with Scala and back-end development.- Previous experience working within the financial services sector, preferably within investment banking.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.Contract Details:- Competitive daily rate: £650 - £850 (negotiable for candidates with significant investment banking and technical experience)- Immediate start- Potential for extension based on performance and project needsif interested please send me across your most recent CV as soon as possible and ill be in touch if suitable.Please click here to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
