Job Description

Senior Data Architect - Personalised Experiences & Communications Platform Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days/week in office) Hours: Full-time About the Opportunity:Join a leading financial services company as a Senior Data Architect!   • Lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud-native data architectures.
  • Develop comprehensive data models supporting business processes.
  • Optimize real-time data streaming solutions for high availability and low latency.
  • Implement a data mesh architecture with decentralized data ownership.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align data architecture with business goals.
  • Establish and enforce data architecture standards and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend data management tools and technologies.
  • Oversee data integration and interoperability across sources.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance.
  • Mentor junior data architects and data engineers.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in data architecture and security.
  • Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services extensively.
What Were Looking For:
  • 7+ years in data architecture, data modelling, and real-time data streaming.
  • Proficiency in data modelling techniques, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of data mesh principles and a product mindset.
  • Knowledge of data security practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Data architecture certifications are a plus.
