BackgroundThis is an opportunity to join the ESG Research and Integration team that works closely with investment teams across all asset classes. Jupiters ESG approach is characterised by our active management and investment-led philosophy. Jupiter has invested heavily within its ESG capabilities over the last two years, and this refers to both people and data infrastructure. This is all underpinned by a strategic commitment made by our Board and Executive Committee. We seek an experienced individualwho has a deep interest and curiosity in the interaction between financial markets, business and sustainability and can complement our team and thrive within the wider organization. The role offers a managerial position with real exposure to and participation with our investment teams. Reporting to the Head of ESG Research and Integration, the right candidate will help coordinate the teams delivery of analytical support to the InvestmentManagers. As well as working on thematic research including the production of thought leadership research, you will work closely with specific investment teams undertaking single-name ESG research. This close collaboration will enable you to deliver valueto the investment teams based upon their specific investment process. Engagement is the hallmark of our stewardship approach, and the candidate will play a significant role in working in partnership with our fund managers to engage with company boards, conduct portfolio monitoring and take ideas to investment teams. The role offers the opportunity for an experienced ESG professional in the financial services / investment industry to lead the relationships with a wide variety of our investment teams across asset classes and strategies such as: sustainable investments andsolutions, developed and emerging markets, investment trusts, fund of funds and fixed income. This includes funds operating within SFDR and those which may receive sustainability labels within the context of SDR. The candidate is expected to be adaptable and contribute to the broader requirements of the team. This may include leading strategic initiatives and projects, attending client or industry meetings, contributing to client reporting and RFP responses. Given the importance of ESG and sustainability regulations and best practice frameworks, an understanding and experience of the most significant aspects will be required. We are looking for an individual with deep knowledge of the ESG agenda within investments and a proven ability to develop strong relationships and work with multiple teams.
