Due to expansion, we are now seeking an HGV Driver to join our team in Crediton with travel throughout the South West. Your Rewards- Salary of c£30,000 per annum - Benefits programme - Guaranteed 48 hours per week - 33 days’ holiday (including Bank Holidays) - Christmas bonus - Full training - Uniform Your RoleAs an HGV Driver, you will be tasked with making multi-drop deliveries and collections of galvanized products or items to be galvanized at customer sites throughout the South West. Making deliveries to repeat customers, you will build relationships and enable the business to thrive through your friendly service. You will drive a Class 2 vehicle and will have the opportunity to operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle. Specifically, you will: - Collect and return your vehicle to and from the Crediton depot daily - Adhere to all road and health and safety rules and regulations - Complete deliveries in a timely manner - Collect goods to be galvanized - Provide a friendly level of service to customers - Commence work at 6:30am and finish when your deliveries are completed About YouTo be considered, as an HGV Driver, you will need: - A Class 1 or Class HGV licence - Geographical knowledge of the Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset areas Experience with steel is a distinct advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided. Other organisations may call this role Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, LGV Driver, 7.5T Driver, Multi-Drop Delivery Driver, Truck Driver, Lorry Driver, Class 2 Driver, Goods Vehicle Driver, or Collections & Delivery Driver. This is a full-time role, working 48 hours per week. This is primarily a Monday - Friday position.
