Job Description

Sales EngineerMonday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (inc premium)Loughborough PERMANENT JOB :- No Part Time / Student OptionsSTOP : you must have previous experience working as a commercial sales engineer to be considered - without this, you may be automatically rejectedWe are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer, someone who knows the trick of sell me this pen, someone who is just as confident in person as they are behind a keyboard.Your main responsibilities will be to manage accounts, develop existing account relationships and create new ones.In addition to your bread and butter work in sales such as preparing quotes, liaising with other depts. Chasing lapsed customers etc. you will also be responsible for:

  • Purchasing stock from suppliers (maintaining stock levels)
  • Progress orders ensuring they are running on time.
  • Working from technical drawings, specs and datasheets for customer requirements.
What experience do you need
  • Previous experience in commercial sales (in a perfect work specifically compressed air or pneumatics)
  • Previous experience dealing directly with clients
  • Must be able to read technical drawings, specs and datasheets
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • The desire to develop and expand your product knowledge
