Job Description

Teacher of Art & Design Technology Location: Cheshire EastContract Type: Contract (Maternity Cover) - September 2024 startSalary: £140 - £190 per day (Depending on Experience) Are you a passionate and fully qualified (QTS) Art & Design Technology Teacher seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity Our vibrant and reputable secondary school in Cheshire East are looking for a dedicated Art and Design Technology Teacher to teachclasses from KS3 to KS5. This role is full-time and involves teaching, planning and marking. The school are looking for someone who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the Uk. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective lessons to secondary school students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  2. Planning and Preparation: Develop well-structured and creative lesson plans, tailored to the needs of the students and aligned with the curriculum.
  3. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, effectively managing student behavior and fostering a love for languages.
  4. Assessment: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  5. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the department and school community.
