Job Description

Business Development/Account Manager- Legionella DivisionManchester £30,000+ benefits One of the UKs leading Environmental Management Consultancies are currently looking for a Business Development/Account Manager to join their team in Manchester.The company are leading training providers of Air, Legionella & Asbestos detection & remediation programmes and operate nationally from their North & Southern offices. They work with private & public sector clients and are known in the industry for their highly regarded services. Along with offering the training to aspiring engineers across the whole industry, they also offer their services within Air Testing, Asbestos Surveying, Legionella Risk Assessing, Plumbing & Water Hygiene Monitoring.The purpose of this role is to gain new accounts within the business, whilst also growing existing accounts; cross selling other services to their huge client base.The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Legionella/Water Hygiene and will have worked within a similar Environmental Risk Management Consultancy.Key Attributes;

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • roven track record of achieving sales targets in a business to business field sales role
  • Flexible with regards to travel & making frequent trips to Manchester
  • Full UK driving license
  • Duties;
  • Selling Water Hygiene/Legionella Services to new clients & upselling/reselling to existing accounts
  • Create & implement sales strategies
  • Attend monthly Sales Meetings in the Manchester office to review performance and prepare & present monthly sales reports i.e.: budgets, targets & prospects.
  • Database management
  • Prepare Quotations & Tenders for new business
  • Costing & preparing for works ensuring smooth flow prior to contract beginning
  • Work in conjunction with the operations team to ensure further smooth running of the contracts.
