Job Description

Finance Business Partner - Fixed Term ContractJoin the Harworth Groups talented team of accountants as a Finance Business Partner, where youll be the primary finance contact for operational teams across the business. This key role involves providing financial analysis and insight to support forecastingand reporting for a property portfolio exceeding £500m. This is a hybrid role and you will be expected to work in both the Manchester City Centre and Rotherham offices, as well as some home working.Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the management team to deliver financial analysis and insight.
  • Collaborate with the business to support strategic planning, annual budgets, and reforecasts.
  • Prepare monthly management information and variance analysis for development spend, profit, acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Calculate accurate profit on asset disposals.
  • Support bi-annual valuation cycles, including cost plan monitoring and value gains analysis.
  • Predict year-end valuation movements through in-depth portfolio knowledge.
  • Produce and review financial models at site and divisional levels.
  • Direct development, acquisition, and project appraisals, providing financial assurance.
  • Assist Investor Relations with market announcements.
  • Conduct various ad hoc project work and analysis.
Key Relationships:
  • Work closely with Regional Directors and their teams.
  • Serve as a crucial link between finance and operational teams.
  • Be an integral member of the finance team.
Qualifications:
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
  • Experience in strategic planning and budget management.
  • Ability to provide insightful financial support for decision-making.
