Job Description

Graduate Carbon Consultant - ManchesterCTJ76Permanent£25,000 - £28,000Our client is searching for a competent and enthusiastic graduate to play a role within their carbon team. You will have a focus on Net zero strategy developing and CDP services to help meet the demands of their customer base.Job responsibilities for a Graduate Carbon Consultant:

  • To assist in the data entry required for SECR and CCA compliance and to producereports for clients
  • Liaise with clients and energy suppliers to obtain energy and information.It is desirable to also have experience of SECR, CCAs and Carbon Footprintingprojects
  • To technically support on projects and to be able to work alongside accountmanagers who will present back the completed work.
  • To carry out energy assessments and provide energy opportunities in a supportingrole
  • Carry out energy audits accompanied with one of our experienced consultants
The ideal Graduate Carbon Consultant will:
  • Have knowledge of the CDP disclosure system
  • Have a degree in Engineering
  • Have knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks such as SECR and the TCFD recommendations and associated disclosure requirements.
  • Have quality technical writing skills and be able to draft client-facing reports to a high standard.
  • Be local to Manchester or willing to commute
