The Enterprise IT and Operations team are investing in cloud technologies to support a digital first business with a product driven approach to delivery using DevOps practises and principals.We use public cloud technologies from AWS and Azure, using some of the latest features and native cloud capabilities to deliver exceptional experiences for guests, owners and internal customers. Our passionate team works collaboratively with our technical partners both inside and outside our organisation with a common purpose and a culture of innovation that delivers value frequently and effectively, supporting our businesses growth, profitability and ensuring owner retention.We are looking for an exceptionally talented, commercially astute IT Procurement Manager to join our UK based team, supporting the technology teams and wider business with its procurement needs. You will need to be a strong relationship builder and a shrewd negotiator, with a strong understanding of the Enterprise IT vendor landscape. You will be a critical thinker, naturally curious with advanced interpretation and evaluation skills and be adept at navigating often complex language, including technical and contractual.As well as external vendors and partners, you will get to work with different teams across the group, including Senior stakeholders, Product Owners and gifted and talented teammates located remotely and at our various office locations. With your help, we will deliver great products and services under favourable commercial terms that will play an essential part in the evolution and growth of the Awaze business. In return you can expect to be challenged and rewarded, invested in and empowered to maximise value for the business from its third-party IT relationships, suppliers and partners.Skills and experience you’ll need to succeedAre you an experienced leader of teams responsible for infrastructure and critical business applications with several major change projects in which you played a key role under your belt Do you have the following skills, experience and talents

Demonstrable experience of negotiating, establishing and maintaining relationships and contracts up to the value of £2m

A clear understanding of the IT landscape, macro trends, key technologies, services, platforms and vendors

Exposure and experience of establishing agreements with hyperscale public cloud and PaaS vendors, with detailed understanding of the both the typical and atypical commercial constructs of such agreements

Experience of running major selection processes, including RFI and RFP

An outstanding negotiator, problem solver and persuasive influencer

Highly effective communication and presentation skills both written and verbal, a capable speaker who recognises the criticality of adaptive communication

Able to rapidly assimilate, interpret and perform quantitative analysis to support effective decision making

Proven commercial prowess with the ability to draw on expertise, industry knowledge and external benchmarking to deliver favourable outcomes for the business

A clear understanding of methodologies and structure of IT service levels, supplier performance measurement, service credits, enterprise and framework agreements and statements of work
