Job Description

Job Title: Reporting ManagerOpportunity type: PermanentLocation: London or ManchesterWork style: 2 days a week in of the officesReporting to: Head of Data and ReportingPurpose of the role:Our client is embarking a huge transformation to enhance its operational efficiency and strategic execution. In the heart of this change is their Portfolio Management Office driving the development and implementation of best practices across the organization.Therefore, they are looking for experienced and versatile Reporting Manager to support and guide them through that journey of change and growth.As a Reporting Manager you will be:

  • Responsible for portfolio reporting capability, providing timely and data driven insights to help ensure that initiatives are delivered per plan.
  • Define, agree and deliver the routine reporting requirements from the project team aligned to a set of agreed KPIs and broader reporting requirements.
  • Manage the routine reporting schedule, including delivery of a monthly report to OpCo.
  • Deputise for the Head of Data & Reporting.
  • Oversee compliance of reporting activities with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain any required reporting templates and tools
Skills needed for this role:
  • Project / Programme Expertise - Strong understanding of project management frameworks, methodologies, tools and best practices.
  • Portfolio Reporting Expertise - Proven record of accomplishment in managing reporting functions within a Portfolio / PMO setting.
  • Data and Reporting Proficiency - Experienced user of a wide range of data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Technical awareness, experience using Power BI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to present complex information clearly.
