  • Promoting continuous improvement of environmental/sustainability performance of all projects
  • Being familiar with and effectively communicating the requirements of current applicable environmental legislation and best practices.
  • Thinking innovatively and working with the Project Engineering team to identify areas where processes can be improved.
  • Aiding all project personnel to enable them to manage their carbon and sustainability duties and responsibilities.
  • Assisting the Environmental team in various internal and external meetings, workshops, management reviews and forums.
  • Raising awareness and understanding of carbon and sustainability targets throughout Capital Delivery.
Based in Hybrid, Clearwater Court, you will be required on-site and in the office as part of your role requires you to.36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.This role does require a drivers licence and access to a car.What you should bring to the role
  • Be educated to a degree or equivalent in environmental/sustainability or something similar.
  • Previous experience in the Utility industry is preferable.
  • To have an interest in project delivery and a passion for protecting and enhancing the environment.
  • Take a proactive approach and be able to adapt to changing scenarios to solve problems and maintain Thames Water standards.

  • Competitive salary from £40,000 to £48,000 per annum.
  • 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
