Technical Manager Salary: CompetitiveLocation: MiddlesbroughHours: Monday - FridayType: 9 - 12 months contractWe are thrilled to announce that Intercontinental Brands (ICB) have requested our services on a retained basis to support them with the appointment of an Interim Technical Manager to be based at their Middlesbrough facility.PurposeOverall responsibility for the business Quality System. Ensuring that policies, procedures and work instructions that are critical to product safety, legality and quality are in place and are adhered to.Drive continuous improvement in processes and output to achieve the longer-term goals of the site.Responsibilities:Maintain & develop the site Quality Management SystemMaintain & develop the site HACCP SystemManage & review the pest control contractorsEnsure hygiene standards are maintained to the highest possible levelEnsure site compliance with all aspects of legislation applicable to the drinks industryEnsure site compliance with all requirements of customer and third party QMSLiaise with Production management across all levels on a daily basisLiaise with Sales and Marketing in the development of new productsLiaise with all customers Technical Departments as required.Responsible for all aspects of the Technical DepartmentAny other duties as deemed necessary by the Director of Operations.This is not an exhaustive list but merely an overview of the main duties involved.Knowledge, experience, and skills required:Key Skills & Experience:Preferably educated to degree level in a science or engineering disciplineExperience working within a similar manufacturing environmentHave extensive experience of people leadership and development and in particular the development and improvement of KPIs and standards across work teams.For more information please contact Imperial Recruitment GroupRequired skills
