Job Description

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations. This position isideal for someone who is organized, has a passion for numbers, and is eager to develop their career in accounting.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other accounts.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements.
  • Assist with the management of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
  • Assist with audit preparations and liaise with auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an accounts assistant role or similar position is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
