Site engineer/ManagerNewark£44000-£54000 + Public sector role + Hybrid working + Every other Friday off + Brilliant Pension + Car allowance and expenses + Excellent holiday packageAre you a site engineer or site manager that has a proven track record of delivering contractsDo you want a role that offers variety, technical challenge, excellent benefits, hybrid working and a 9 day working fortnight The main function of this role would be to undertake a multi project planning, delivery and coordination role where multi-contract procurement and project management skills are used to deliver specialist land drainage projects, cost effectively and in a riskmanagement environment. This is a client facing role where you will be the point of contact for the contractor.The ideal candidate would be a site engineer or site manager that has a proven track record on delivering contracts. Candidates who have worked on NEC3, NEC4 or JCT contracts are encouraged to apply.This is a brilliant role for a Site engineer or site manager to join on organisation where you will be a vital cog in the wheel and work in an empowered & relaxed working environment.The role:*Client facing role.*Hybrid working- 2 days a week In the office*Every other Friday off*Delivery of multidisciplinary engineering projects across the Consortium Boards areas including asset repair and replacements.*Coordinating and managing external contractors, including preparation of contract documents, and performing risk and value management and cost control during the lifecycle of the project.*Managing the tender process, preparing construction tender documents, providing the work scope and target delivery date, reviewing, and analysing for validity of tenders, and preparing Board reports for Board approval.*Bringing a sound commercial awareness to the preparation and management of contracts, including negotiating contracts and work schedules; maintaining records including events that impact on the Contractors progress and the contract terms including, providingadvice on compensation events, and contract claims and disputes.*Maintaining and reviewing the project risk registers during the lifecycle of the projects.The person:*Have a strong background in site engineering or site management. *Have a proven track record in delivering contracts. *Able to demonstrate commercial awareness. *Good client facing skills
