You will get the opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies, developing, implementing and operationalising the Banks data protectionstrategy.What youll be doing• Providing specialist knowledge in Cyber Security Data Protection and Insider Threat, with a deep understanding of associated security controls• Designing and implementation of data protection and insider threat policies to help protect the Banks data• Integration planning to improve control landscape• Applying your SME understanding of data protection technologies• Communicating and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to ensure the data loss prevention requirements are articulated and understood• Feeding into the Banks strategic direction for Data Loss and Insider Threat, including identification and development of suitable tools to support• Identifying and risk assessing any gaps in current security posture, determining the appropriate response• Taking the lead in continuous improvements programmes to enhance processes and reduce risk, and improve efficiency as you keep the customer at the heart• Providing advice on appropriate Data Protection controls across technical disciplines• Building strong relationships as you work closely with security technology vendors to identify and progress control improvements, and perform issue remediation• Design of control changes, including working directly with Detect & Respond areas to handover monitoring and alerting requirementsWe need you to have• Experience of data loss Prevention and Insider Threat solutions, with the ability to operate as an SME and provide support to develop existing team members• Proven strong analytical, problem solving and technical IT system skills• Expertise in effective communication and resolving complex situations.• Drive to manage your own deliverables and development.• Ability to lead complex technical improvements and innovations• Expert knowledge of a data loss prevention and/or insider threat tools such as Broadcom DLP, or Proofpoint• Expert knowledge and experience of the Microsoft Purview suite• Expert knowledge of data loss prevention and insider threat processes• Strong, resilient mindset, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver to requirementsIts a bonus if you have but not essential• Industry related security qualification (e.g. CISSP, CISM) or equivalent practical security experienceRed Hot Rewards• Generous holidays - 38.5 days annual leave (including bank holidays and prorated if Part–Time) plus the option to buy more • Up to five extra paid well-being days per year • 20 weeks paid, gender-neutral family leave (52 weeks in total) for expectant parents and those looking to adopt • Market-leading pension • Free private medical cover, income protection and life assurance • Flexible benefits include Cycle to Work, wellness and health assessments, and critical illness • Ability to work anywhere in the UK (where the role allows)And theres no waiting around, youll enjoy these benefits from day one.Feeling insatiably curious about this role Apply as soon as you can.
