Job Description

Prospero Teaching are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants in East Riding! As a Teaching Assistant you would be required to offer support to students with SEN. You can be working in a specialised setting or in a mainstream environment helping to support on the students progress, achievements, behaviour, and self-esteem/confidence. We are looking for dedicated support staff to work 1-2-1 with young people with SEN. This can be within a classroom environment, 1-1 or even home visits. Group work may also be part of the role Some contracts may be extended from day-to-day bookings to longer-term cover. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Anlaby, East Riding Position Support Staff Subject KS2, Life Skills, Vocational Start date ASAP Duration / Likely Duration Ongoing End date (if applicable) Contract type Temporary Full time/part-time Full Time and Part Time (excluding School holidays) The minimum rate of pay Minimum rate GBP80 per day Hours 8:30am 3:30pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience working in a UK school (desirable however not essential) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
