Job Description

Do you want to be a valued part of the critical infrastructure that serves communities across Europe and beyond Are you looking for a position in which you can set direction and help shape our company If so, then you could be the newest addition to ourteam as Regional Sales Manager.Be part of the movement - and play your part.About the roleWith a strong knowledge of the travel industry, you’ll be responsible primarily for new business development and will be an integral part of a wider Commercial team. Within the role, we need you to be proactive in dealing with prospects, converting themto business opportunities, and ultimately into new clients.You will be responsible for:

  • Being the point of contact for DFDS towards a defined portfolio of clients or source markets.
  • Ownership of the commercial relationship with that portfolio of customers
  • Client analysis, negotiation, and implementation of agreements.
  • Year-round monitoring of performance – working towards KPI’s.
  • Representation of DFDS at customer meetings and relevant trade and network events.
  • Building excellent relationships with key customers.
About youThe ideal candidate will be highly commercially driven, demonstrate agility, and be able to work analytically on commercial problem solving. You’ll need to have strong relationship building and project management skills whilst also being able to collaborate,influence and negotiate both internally and externally. It is essential you have knowledge and experience within the travel industry.Ideally you will have the following attributes:• Excellent organisational skills.• Ability to work under pressure.• Ability to plan and manage sales activity.• Ability to travel regularly• Experience within a multi-channel role would be desirable.We think the strongest teams are built on diversity and inclusivity.
