You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, andachieving sales targets. Your excellent communication skills and product knowledge will contribute to our continued success.Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:Cultivate positive relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional service.
  • New Business Development:Identify potential customers, generate leads, and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge:Develop a deep understanding of their metal products and their applications.
  • Sales Administration:Handle inquiries, prepare quotes, process orders, and manage documentation.
  • Sales Promotion:Proactively promote products and services via phone, reaching out to current, lapsed, and potential customers. Accurately record information and meet call targets.
  • Order Processing:Efficiently process verbal and written orders from customers.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with external colleagues to meet sales and profit targets, maintaining contact with existing and new accounts.
  • Complaint Handling:Address customer complaints professionally and effectively.
  • Sales Budget/Forecast:Assist in creating the sales budget and forecast for the next year with colleagues and managers.
  • Adherence to Procedures:Follow company procedures and standards consistently.
  • Credit Monitoring:Monitor customer credit and debt levels in accordance with credit control procedures.
  • Material Acquisition:Acquire materials at competitive rates from approved sources when necessary.
  • Stock Checks:Assist in stock checks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience:Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Product Knowledge:Basic understanding of metals (training provided).
  • Organizational Skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Team Player:Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to team success.
