Operations Manager | £30,000 - £34,000 | NottinghamMonday - Saturday | 5 Days Per Week | 37.5 Hours Per WeekCherry Professional are currentlyrecruiting for an Operations Manager in Nottingham who has previous experience in hospitality, commercial income growth, and event/project management.What we are looking for:- Experience in an operational or commercial role; specifically hospitality, commercial income growth, and event/project management- Experience of financial management, including understanding of profit/loss, and ability to budget/forecast effectively- Someone who isambitious to develop their skills within a growing organisation, where you can really make an impact-Strong leadership and line management experience, including performance management -Good understanding of EPOS systems, including inventory management and calculating Gross Profit & Cost of Goods Sold - Practical experience and sound knowledge of Licensed Bar Trade law/regulation - Enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work as part of a team and on own initiative - Flexible and adaptable to changing demands and new challenges - Excellent time management skills and ability to deal with complex, busy and demanding workload - Proven ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders, partners and members of the public including effective management of compliments and complaintsKey responsibilities:-Responsible for the management, staffing, administration and running of the cafe,venue hire and commercial events-Contributing to the strategic planning and development of commercial activities, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement and ensuring an effective, high-quality operation that meets financial targets and KPIs, whilst working to agreed staffingbudgets-Managing the venue hire process and overseeing the co-ordination of room bookings, client liaison, catering, technical and staffing requirements-Maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with financial policies and monitor financial performance to ensure profitability, providing regular financial updates to the Executive Director on key metrics including Gross & Net Profit and Cost ofGoods Sold-Collaborating with the marketing team to promote the cafe, venue hire, and commercial eventsWhat they can offer you:- Competitivesalary-25 days annual leave per annum plus bank holidays- Pension contributionCherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
