They aim to provide the very best service, and they would love your help incontinuing that process.Salary and BenefitsFor your hard work and commitment, you will be paid a salary between £25,500 - £26,500 and a very desirable employee package which includes; 23 days of annual leave including bank holidays, pension, objective based personal bonus of up to £2,500per year, additional overtime and sleep-ins available, annual increase of holiday allowance to a maximum of 28 days, full therapeutic training and comprehensive induction plan, reduced school holiday childcare costs, blue light card/Westfield rewards for highstreet and online discounts, career path and external training available to support your ambitions, and so much more!Overview of the RoleI am currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children`s Residential Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care for children in our residential home. As a Children`s Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for supportingchildren who have experienced trauma and challenging life situations. You will provide therapeutic care and support for children aged between 5-18 years old.Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing emotional and practical support to children in the home
  • Always Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
  • Promoting positive behaviour and routines for children in the home
  • Supporting children in their education and development
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
  • Maintaining accurate records of the care provided to the children
  • Participating in team meetings and training opportunities
Required Skills, Experience, & Knowledge
  • Experience working with children in a residential or similar setting
  • A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care or Children`s Services (Level 3 or above)
  • Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern, including sleep ins and weekends on a rota basis
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle - ESSENTIAL
  • A compassionate and caring approach to working with children
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • Knowledge and understanding of child development and safeguarding procedures
