Job Description

New opportunity to join this well-known UK brand as a Materials Controller as part of an improving structure across their supply chain functions. You will be responsible for ensuring the right products are available to meet the requirements of internal and external customers. Managing supply versus demand will be key to delivering high level of material availability. As the front-line point of contact for Vendors and key business stakeholders (Product, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Finance, Sales and Marketing), the Materials Controller is responsible for ensuring effective relationships are developed and maintained.Candidates should have the ability to :

  • Develop and maintain supply plans for global supply base.
  • Measure key vendor KPIs for On-Time delivery and report back.
  • Identify areas for improvement and produce action plans.
  • Implement changes in supply source.
  • Utilise best-practice methods and tools for material replenishment.
