Job Description

Temporary to cover a period of absence(Required to start as soon as possible)St Edmund’s College offers modern facilities in a magnificent country setting in rural Hertfordshire, providing a safe and stimulating environment for young minds. St Edmund’s is Englands oldest Catholic school offering an all-round co-education for students from 3 to 18 and for families from all faiths.We require a Teaching Assistant to support the pastoral and academic care of the students of our Prep School. The role involves supporting the students and providing general support to teachers in the management of students’ learning in and out of the classroom.The Prep School prides itself on its high levels of pastoral care.The successful applicant must have high professional standards as well as good communication skills. The role requires a good degree of flexibility as well as a sense of humour. The hours will be 8.30am to 4.30pm, 5 days per week, term time only.An NVQ Level 3 or similar would be an advantage.If you would like to apply please visit our website in order to download an application pack.
