Job Description

This position calls for a Quality Engineer in the industrial/manufacturing sector, who is passionate about engineering and manufacturing and is committed to contributing to a team in Oldham.Client DetailsOur client is a leading player in the industrial/manufacturing industry.   • Ensure quality compliance and improve quality systems within the engineering and manufacturing department.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to uphold the highest quality standards.
  • Implement strategies for continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related concerns.
  • Support the production team in maintaining day-to-day operations.
  • Compile and represent quality reports to management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality training programs.
ProfileA successful Quality Engineer should have:
  • An educational background in Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of various quality tools and methodologies (PPAP, 8D and 5 Ys)
  • To have a background in CNC Machining and CMM inspection
  • Experience supporting NPI (New Product Introduction) projects
  • A strong understanding of the manufacturing process; converting raw materials and components into finished goods.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proven experience in implementing quality control systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills.
