Job Description

Are you a qualified teacher of Spanish looking for a new role in OldhamTradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented Spanish teacher to join a large secondary academy in north Oldham.This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role from March 2024 to July 2024.The RoleTeacher of Spanish to key stage 3 and GCSEFive days a weekA creative enthusiastic attitude to behaviour management is essential.Innovative teacher able to tailor resources to a broad range of abilities and language skills.A good knowledge of the AQA GCSE for Spanish is required.The academy are interested in hearing from early career teachers, experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with experience of teaching Spanish to students aged 11 to 16The SchoolSuccessful 11-16 academy in on the Oldham /Rochdale borderGood Ofsted 2020State of the art facilities for teaching and learning."Pupils behave well and try hard in class. They listen to teachers and others, ask questions and contribute their own idea. Pupils benefit from the high expectations of the new headteacher, trust leaders and others. These leaders work with purpose and pace,to secure pupils bright futures".To join us and be successful in this Spanish Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS or equivalent Further education qualifications such as PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work full time in the UK with no restrictions
