Bennett and Game are collaborating with a well-established contracting business that has been delivering highway services for 49 years across various challenging and complex networks. Serving both public and private sector clients, they possess the expertiseto tackle the demands of the modern road network. With a rise in long-term contracts, they are expanding their civils team to specifically cover Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Hillingdon, and surrounding counties and boroughs.As a supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and organizing resources, including labour and equipment, to achieve maximum efficiency and output safely. You will ensure that the companys health, safety, and quality standards are met, consistentlyexceeding client expectations.Site Supervisor Position Remuneration

Site Supervisor Position Overview

Direct individual foremen, plan future workloads to meet contract targets, and monitor production progress.
Coordinate and supervise daily activities of direct labour and subcontractors.
Place timely and accurate orders for materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to client standards.
Manage and allocate resources, including plant, equipment, and vehicles, to maximize efficiency.
Maintain and submit daily diaries at the end of each site visit, including dimensions, supply issues, and waiting times.
Report observations, near-misses, and assist in incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed out.
Complete site-specific risk assessments and prepare site packs with appropriate control measures for safe work execution.
Ensure all plant checks are completed.
Deliver Toolbox Talks and briefings to the team.
Communicate daily with customers and contract management to ensure the project stays on schedule and meets all requirements.

Site Supervisor Position Requirements

NVQ level 3 / 4 construction supervision - Desirable
Surfacing and highways experience
CSCS, SMSTS, NRSWA
Understanding of CDM regulations and relevant standards and specifications
Experience of dealing with the commercial elements capture all costs and potential value streams
