Assistant Management Accountant PermanentPlymouth £33,000 - £35,000We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team in Plymouth. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for numbers, and the drive to excel, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.- Perform variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management.- Liaise with various departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy.- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.- Support the year-end audit process and assist with the preparation of audit schedules.- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as required.Requirements:- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent.- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with [specific software] is a plus).- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Proactive and eager to learn and develop professionallyWhat We Offer:- Hyrid working - one day a week from home- 5% annual bonus- 10% pension contribution- Life and medical coverIf you are interested, please apply below!
