Job Description

School Cleaner VacancyReed Education is delighted to partner with a well-respected school in search of a dedicatedSchool Cleaner. This is apermanent, part-time roleoffering a competitive salary of£6,318.10 annually. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaininga clean and safe learning environment for our students and staff.Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining cleanlinessacross the school site, includingclassrooms, library, hall, dining room, bathrooms, and staff areas.
  • Vacuuming carpeted areasandwashing floorsto ensure they are spotless.
  • Sweeping uncarpeted areasto keep them free of debris.
  • Emptying and cleaning bins, ensuring waste is managed effectively.
  • Spot cleaning spillagespromptly to prevent accidents.
  • Cleaning desks, seats, and skirting boardsto maintain a hygienic surface.
  • Sanitising toilet areasandreplenishing toiletries, guaranteeing essential supplies are always available.
  • Cleaning doors and windows, providing a clear and welcoming view.
  • Checking stock levelsof cleaning materials and keeping inventory.
  • Reporting all defects/hazardsimmediately to the Headteacher to address any issues swiftly.
Working Hours:
  • Flexible2.5 hours per day, with the option to work either before or after school hours to suit your schedule.
