Job Description

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a new challenge Join Potters Bar Clinicand be a part of a culture where you will be valued and supported as you flourish in your new role as a Night Coordinator.As a Night Coordinator, working37.5hours a week, you will lead and manage the quality of nursing care for service users during night shifts, ensuring the service runs smoothly.You will be a pivotalmember of the operational management team and will be supporting the Nurses, Senior Nurses and clinical teams across Potters Bar Clinicduring the night shifts. Providing nursing leadership and support to nursing staff on night shifts across the service.
Undertaking clinical supervision with night staff.
Identifying any nighttime cost pressures with the budget responsibilities and take steps to minimise/eradicate their impact on the budget.
Managing staff allocation, redeployments and daily numbers on the ward and additional use of premium rate staff to ensure budget is tightly controlled and effectively managed.
Working closely with the on-site staff coordinator to ensure adequate staffing is considered and booked for the night and day teams.
Providing statistics and reports as required by the Hospital Director/Deputy Hospital Director

To be successful for this role you will need:

Relevant experience as RMN/RNMH/RNLD
First level nurse with evidence of professional development, relevant skills and knowledge
Awareness of the wider Healthcare economy and political environment
Relevant Clinical Experience in a similar environment
Proven track record of leadership skills
