Job Description

Robert Walters are currently working in partnership with a brilliant business based in Redhill, Surrey who are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis.The Assistant Accountant will join our clients growing team where they will provide financial support across the business.Helping to build a solid internal infrastructure for further growth, this role will support and report to the Financial Controller and provide pivotal support.As an Assistant Accountant. your role and responsibilities will include:- General ledger management including bookkeeping tasks- Supporting with month end processes.- Maintaining the Sales Ledger and the Purchase Ledger- Manager full accounts payable cycle- Bank reconciliations on various banks accounts with account analysis- Management of the Fixed Asset register- Preparation of Tax filings including VAT & CIS- Process weekly and monthly PayrollAs an Assistant Accountant, we would love to speak to people with the following skillset:- Ideally AAT qualified or have a strong track record working in a similar role (QBE)- Broad Finance exposure with demonstrable experience in supporting with month end processes- Excellent attention to detail when handling financial data and preparing reports- Has worked closely with non finance stakeholders to give financial adviceThis is a brilliant Assistant Accountant role within a fast paced, high growth organisation who are offering the following:- Salary £30,000 - £40,000- Enhanced company pension scheme- Free onsite parking in Redhill- Highly competitive additional benefits packageOur client is looking to interview and identify the right candidate ASAP so people on a 4 week notice period or less would be highly desirable.Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
