Job Description

My client is a well-established firm in South West London on the search for an experienced Property Paralegal/ Legal Assistant to join their residential and commercial property team.Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional client engagement, acting as the first point of contact for clients via telephone and email.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks and collaborate with the Property Team to ensure high-quality and accurate completion of assignments.
  • Assist in various property transactions, including sale, purchase, and remortgage, under supervision and training.
  • Conduct legal and case-related research to support property matters.
  • Proactively manage diaries, reminding fee earners of commitments and ensuring all necessary documents are prepared for meetings.
  • Participate in client relationship management, handling new business enquiries, and contributing to client care.
  • Assist in file management, from opening and conflict checks to document preparation and archiving.
  • Support the Property Team in financial management, including billing and processing disbursements.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience in a Property/Real Estate role (12 months plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in client-facing situations.
  • IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, with case or document management experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Initiative and a proactive, collaborative team player attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently under supervision.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a busy environment.
