Job Description

Job Title: Year 1 teacher - TeddingtonContract: Full Time / Long TermSalary: £160 - £260 DOEAbout the school:anzuk is collaborating with a South West-based Primary school to find aYear 1 Teacher. This encourages and enables the children to give of their best and the school is proud of their results and achievements.Year 1 Teacher

  • Produce and implement customised lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles and behavioural needs of each student in the Year 1 class
  • Conduct assessments, provide timely feedback, and track student progress
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies
  • Cultivate a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a sense of value, respect, and motivation for all students
  • Maintain transparent communication by regularly providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative approach to education
The Ideal Year 1 Teacher:
  • Possess a valid teaching certification, such as QTS, to ensure the highest standards of teaching practice
  • Demonstrate a track record of successful experience working with primary-aged students with behavioural needs, showcasing your ability to meet the unique challenges of this group
  • Hold a recent and clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Embody patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of students, particularly those with diverse behavioural needs
