Job Description

I am currently working with leading Client in the Rochdale area who are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to run the finance function of their biggest entity. The group make up 4 entities with this one being the largest and generated revenue of £25million. As Finance Manager you will be responsible for a team of 3 and report into the Group FD. This is a hands on role where you will deal directly with the Directors of the business and report to them daily. The main duty of this role is to oversee all areas of financial management for the site, providing leadership / guidance to the management accounts, credit control & purchase ledger teams. To ensure timely supply of compliant, accurate and update to date financial data to the Directors. Other duties will include:  Daily review of cash / treasury balance with consideration of overnight deposit amounts  Monthly review of forward forecasting and group cashflow  Update forward forecasts for each company and update & issue 13 week forecast.  Work with Group Financial Director to lead and administer the annual budget process; including setting and management of deadlines for preparation and control of related files & spreadsheets across all areas.  Maintain daily cash flow forecast  Liaise with marketing and warehouse for daily review and authorisation of overhead expense purchase orders.  Monthly review & reconciliation of aged debt.  Manage foreign exchange of currency on an adhoc basis, to include Buy/Sell of USD/EUR and update USD contracts for daily cash summary.  Administer third party contractor invoices, duty and costs detail and liaise regarding any queries  Prepare and upload monthly Netherlands and French ESL listing, Intrastat & VAT returns  Sales and agents commissions calculations  Manage the CAPEX spend process, reviewing requirements and raising relevant forms for approval  Manage & respond as appropriate to PCI compliance matters, LEI renewals and Banking administration. This role will suit a QBE or part qualified Accountant - study support will be provided both with study time and financially, and this could also open doors of opportunity for the right person to move to a Group FC role.
