Job Description

We are proud of the relationship we hold with the trust and with this, provide staffing for short, medium and long-term vacancies.To support the supply need of Alice Ingham RC Primary School, we are seeking a Teaching Assistant who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children.Key Responsibilities:

Supporting Classroom Activities:Assist the teacher in implementing individualized learning plans and adapting materials to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
One-on-One Support:Provide focused support to students with specific learning needs, helping them overcome challenges and achieve academic and personal milestones.
Collaboration:Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with SEN.
Observation and Reporting:Observe and record student progress, behaviours, and achievements, and communicate this information to the teaching team and parents regularly.
Promoting Inclusivity:Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their unique learning journeys.
Assistive Technology:Familiarize yourself with and utilize assistive technology and resources to enhance the learning experience for students with SEN.

Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
Relevant qualifications or training as a Teaching Assistant
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational development of children with SEN.
