Job Title:Business Development ManagerLocation:Flexible (Hybrid work arrangements available)Salary:£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (plus competitive package)Company:A leading supplier of mid to high volume precision turned and milled components. As a Tier 1 supplier to the automotive sector, they manufacture specialist components for various industries, including aerospace, agricultural, motorsport,motorcycles, and more. With over 30 years of experience, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality products while meeting tight delivery deadlines.Role Overview:As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in driving growth by engaging with clients, partners, and stakeholders. You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely, be on the road, or operate from our office.Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities locally and globally.
    • Leverage your industry contacts to expand our customer base.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  2. Sales Strategy:
    • Contribute to annual business plans and sales strategies.
    • Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets.
    • Evaluate and implement key performance indicators (KPIs).
  3. Market Expansion:
    • Explore new markets and industries where our components can make an impact.
    • Monitor industry trends and adapt our offerings accordingly.
Understanding Capabilities:Before engaging with clients and pursuing orders, the successful candidate must thoroughly understand the comapnies capabilities.This Role Includes:

    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
    • Familiarity with engineering terminology and concepts.
    • Comfortable discussing technical details with clients and prospects.
  2. Quality Assurance:
