Job Description

Its a prime time to join the business in a role that promises variety and a clear pathway for professional development.Your New RoleAs the Senior Financial Reporting Manager, you will be integral to the technical finance function of the business. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of finance professionals overseeing financial reporting.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial statements, adhering to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Board Reports: Prepare and present comprehensive reports to the board, providing insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Audit Coordination: Maintain and enhance relationships with external auditors, ensuring smooth and efficient audit processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement and advocate for best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
What Youll Need to SucceedTo excel in this role, you will need:
  • Qualifications: ACA or ACCA Qualified.
  • Experience: Ideally from a Big 4/Top 10 practice. Ideally with industry experience or first mover from the profession with post qualified experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical accounting skills with a thorough understanding of financial reporting standards.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in managing and developing a finance team.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and focused approach to work, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Mindset: A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to enhance processes and systems.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide insightful recommendations to senior leadership.
