Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Controller in the Accounting & Finance department of a leading company in the Transport & Distribution industry.Client DetailsThe company is a globally recognised figure in the Transport & Distribution sector, employing over 10,000 individuals.   • Managing debt recovery and implementing effective credit control strategies.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Preparing monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Resolving payment disputes and handling customer queries.
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Working closely with the wider Accounting & Finance team.
  • Complying with all regulations in the Transport & Distribution industry.
ProfileA successful Credit Controller should have:
  • Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance or similar field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
  • Strong understanding of credit control procedures and principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.
