As an IT Support Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop your IT skills in a number of areas including cloud based technologies,business operations, consultancy and managed services.Working with an excellent team in a great working environment you will be supported by a senior member of the team who will impart their knowledge, skills and experience to mentor you throughout your Apprenticeship. They will create a personal developmentplan for you to develop your technical and business skills which will include use of cloud platforms, networking and security.You will be working with internal and external engineers to resolve incidents.Salary:£17,000 per annum.Main responsibilities: [will include but not be limited to:]

  • Working alongside the Managed Services Support Team Leader alternating between reactive and proactive support
  • Providing support to clients spread across the UK resolving technical issues or identifying issues that need to be addressed
  • Provide first line helpdesk support to clients, assisting with IT issues via the phone, email and remote support tools
  • Logging, Tracking and resolving Incidents within a service management system, adhering to SLA’S
  • Identifying when to escalate incidents to ensure SLA achievement
  • Managing Service Desk mailboxes to update relevant incidents with key information
  • Carry out Service Desk related duties to ensure incidents are resolved within the required timescales
  • Management of any third parties/vendors which may be used as resolve groups
What we are looking for:Desirable skills:
  • A passion for IT Technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as this is a client facing role
  • Experience in a customer facing environment would be an advantage
Personal qualities:
  • Candidates will have a keen and demonstrable interest in IT
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • You must have a logical approach to solving problems, be creative and empathetic
  • Driven and ambitious
  • Enthusiastic approach to work
  • Team player but also the ability to work on own initiative
Entry requirements:
  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.Working week:Monday - Friday, 8:30am – 5:00 pm / 37.5hrs a week.Benefits:We value our employees and have:
