Its what delivering great healthcare should feel like.What you will be doingAs a Registered Nurse you will join a supportive multi-disciplinary team that works well together in caring for people of all ages who are living with neurological and long-term conditions, including those living with physical disabilities and recoveringfrom traumatic injuries, and providing a high level of personal and rehabilitative care.You will pick up shifts to work as part of a wider team alongside therapy colleagues to deliver the individual care each person needs while maintaining accurate records.It can be very physical working with people with limited mobility, providing personal care and although challenging, it is highly rewarding. Youll be supported by a team of colleagues ready to lend a hand and work together to a common goal. No two daysare the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.The service is a 24/7 environment, with full time hours either 8am-8pm for days or 8pm-8am for nights. Part-time hours are a combination of early shifts (8am-2pm) and late shifts (2pm-8pm). Both positions are across the full week so there are no set daysin which you will work, with weekends included on a rota.Youll join our teams that support people who have complex rehabilitation needs such as tracheostomies / ventilated / peg feeds and who have extensive and long-term rehabilitation goals. In some cases, peoples mobility and speech can be affected and wework closely with a range of other services including wheelchair, speech and alternative communication aid providers.Things that you will have:

Where you will be workingGardens Neurological Centre and Jacobs Neurological Centre have a combined total of 132 beds on the same site in Sawbridgeworth (CM21 0HH), which is on the Hertfordshire and Essex border within easy travelling distance of London and Cambridge.The two Centres deliver specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions, and brain or spinal injuries who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise functional ability.Recovery is assisted wherever possible, with emphasis placed on maximising each individuals abilities, comfort and quality of life.Each service has communal lounges, dining rooms, and all bedrooms have en-suite facilities with over 95% on single occupancy. All rooms are adapted to each residents requirements according to their assessments and needs.What you will get
