Health Care Assistant£9.44 per hour + 30% enhancements for nights and weekends | Gardens and Jacobs Neurological Centre - Sawbridgeworth The roleGardens and Jacobs Neurological Centre are looking for Health Care assistants to join their teams. They are looking for full time, part time and bank. Nights and Day shifts available. In this role you will be an integral part of a team who are committedto delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise. You will:

  • Undertake care procedures respecting the residents privacy, dignity and cultural beliefs.
  • Report any changes in a residents condition, circumstances or response to care/treatment appropriately and immediately to the nurse in charge.
  • Undertake key working responsibilities and assist in risk assessments and care planning.
  • Accurately record the changing needs of this complex client group.

About usAt our neurological centres we have a strong multi-disciplinary team, made up of physiotherapy, speech & language, OT and clinical. We care for those people who are living with neurological & long-term conditions including those living with physical disabilitiesand recovering from traumatic injuries (car accident).We care for people of all ages and provide high level of personal and rehabilitative care.Our teams support people who have complex rehabilitation needs such as tracheostomies / ventilated / peg feeds and that have extensive and long-term rehab goals. Our care is to promote independence and discharge back home for people. In some cases, peoplesmobility and speech can be affected and we work closely with a range of other services including wheelchair, speech and alternative communication aid providersWe love people with a positive, "can do" attitude who want to make a difference in their work.
